Grafton to Inverell Classic @ 11 May
Declan Jones faced his first Grafton Inverell Classic over 228k in cold & windy conditions. The wind was from the south west meaning left to right crosswinds all day. For Declan in Division 2 what lay ahead was a lumpy ride to the bottom of the Gibraltar Range, then a 13k climb to the Gibraltar summit. Grafton Inverell is a most difficult learning experience and things didn’t go quite to plan and Declan was a DNF at the Mount Marshall Feed Zone @ 120k. It was a tough day.
Alex Simmons drove the Division 3 event as a Commissaire & Mike O’Reilly drove the Happy Wheels Subaru as the NRS Division 1 Doctors Car.
Waratah Masters @ Lansdowne @ 12 May - Jeremy Hopson (BiciSport Pilu Racing) took the A grade victory, and Ian Grainger a peloton finish in C grade
