Kas Pro Cycling Team (Spain) - 1958-79 + 3 years in the 1980’s
KAS was a Spanish soft drink manufacturer, groupsets were Campagnolo then Mavic & framesets were Vitus (in the 1980’s)
The early version of KAS from 1958 was somewhat focused on pure climbers - Frederico Bahamontes, Julio Jiminez and then onto Jose Manual Fuente. The 1980’s version included Sean Kelly (pictured above) who won the Milan San Remo Classic & the Paris Roubaix Classic supported by Acacio De Silva and Stephen Hodge (Aus)
