Yes, it was a Spanish team but it looked more like a refugee camp for wayward Belgians in search of the end of career contract - be it Marc Somers, Lucien Van Impe (Grand Tour legend), Rudy Patry, Leo Wellens, Benny Van Brabant, Eddy De Bie (cyclocross), Ludo Loos & Eric Van de Perre (who rode the Herald SunTour in Oz). None of the Spanish riders seem to win anything …
