Geoff Baxter took the Silver in the NSW Elite Omnium Championships held over two days at DGV. The first three placegetters in the Elite Champs were actually Masters.
NSW Cyclist of the Year Awards - Tierney, Glanville, Willmott take a bow
The NSW Cyclist of the Year Awards were held in conjunction with the Clarence Street Cup night at DGV. Matt Glanville was awarded the NSW Masters Cyclist of the Year (across all age categories, track & road). Its been a stellar year for Matt. Sue Tierney took the Masters Women W6 category award after posting victories (or the rare placing) in all Championships contested. David Willmott has amassed a total of 15 World Championships over the years and this year picked up another two. David was awarded the Masters Men M7 trophy.
BiciSport at Clarence St Cup
Clarence Street Cup on 7 November - Matt Glanville took a win in the opening Scratch Race of the CSC carnival, then teamed up with Brad McGee in the Teams Pursuit. Geoff Baxter & David Browne made the CSC Wheelrace final and rode well.

Deagan takes out World Duathlon Champs
World Duathlon Champs on 14-18 October
Held in Adelaide and a win for Dean Degan in his age category (40-44 years). Dean rode for BiciSport at the Nowra State TTT Champs in July 14. Jason Keane finished 16th.
World Masters Track Championships - 3 Gold, 4 Silver, Cossavella Win
To say it was an amazing BiciSport week at Manchester would be a mild understatement with 3 Gold and 4 Silver medals plus a victory byMatt Glanville in the Cossavella Cup which concludes the Championships. The BiciSport team to Manchester Worlds included David Willmott, Andrew Patten (Qld), Matt Glanville, Geoff Baxter & Jays Austin with the coach John Crouchley. Many thanks toKym Masterson who also assisted.
- Sprint - David Willmott took Gold and Matt Glanville 4th
- ITT - David Willmott took Gold
- Scratch Race - Matt Glanville & Geoff Baxter both took Silver. A great team ride by Jays Austin.

- Team Sprint - David Willmott was relegated in the heat and did not qualify for the medal round

Great Divide a Great Success
Great Divide on 29-30 August
Breadalbane 29 Aug - Usual blustery conditions (cold strong westerly winds) greeted the 110+ competitors. Stewart Campbell finished 4th in 33min 45secs for the 20k ITT. Gunning 30 Aug - All races started at the Gunning Showgrounds and conditions were near perfect with only light winds and no rain. In A grade over 145k - Oliver Dharma Ratnefinished an excellent 19th for a strong peloton finish. In B grade over 90k - Conor Tarlington put in his best Open performance to date for 18th and apeloton finish. In womens B grade over 45k - Martinette Van Vuuren took the win in a tailor made uphill sprint.
Dalidowicz & Tarlington Shine at National Capital Tour
National Capital Tour on 19/20 September
Monica Dalidowicz finished an outstanding 24th overall (from 55 starters) in the Womens NRS Tour around Canberra (ITT, Crit & 2 Road Races). Conor Tarlington also got his best Open result of the season in a combined A/B grade for 8th overall.

Amy Gillett Gran Fondo - Dharma Ratne rides a cracker
Amy Gillett Gran Fondo on 13 September
Oliver Dharma Ratne punched around the 110k from Lorne to Apollo Bay then up the Skenes Creek climb in a very good 2hrs 56min for 6th in Masters 35/39yrs category. Alternatively Neil Farquarhson got seriously punched by the adverse windy conditions from Devils Elbow across to Deans Marsh and posted 4hrs 45min.

Peter Selkrig finished 61st in his Masters category from 250 starters despite a puncture for his efforts.
Flanagan wins HEZ Crit

Kristy Flanagan took a Womens Div 2 win at the HEZ Kurri Kurri. Sue Tierney punctured.
Vale - Erik Mather (Northside Master)
Erik was a long time North Sydney & BiciSport club member. In more recent times Erik was a Waratah Masters member, and a highly regarded A grade road rider in both criteriums and road races. Taken by cancer in late September 2011 way before his time, Erik will be missed by all those who knew him.
Vale - Ross Martin (Northside Master)
Ross was a long time supporter of northside cycle racing, and was killed at a cycle race at Kooragang Island near Newcastle in early July 2011. Ross was a Winter Olympian (to Grenoble in 1968) and was a tireless worker for all things cyclesport and road safety on the northside. A great bloke, who was taken way too early.
Vale - Graham Jones (BiciSport Master)
Graham Jones was a long time member of both BiciSport and Manly Clubs, and an active rider in the Masters Division (both as a rider & event organiser). Graham was tragically killed in the early morning while out training near Chatswood on Sunday 10 November 02.
To celebrate Graham's contribution to the Northern Beaches community the Narrabeen Lagoon walking & cycle track was named in his honour on 16 September 2016.
